Jackson is a 14 year old part Morgan horse. He prefers his own company to that of other horses.

He is very anti-social and dominate within the herd at the sanctuary.

Jackson has EPM or Equine Protozoa disease. This is a protozoan in the spine which destroys the central nervous system.

He also has repeated founder.

Jackson is as stubborn as a mule. He is very sensitive about who rides him. He does not like to be around men. We suspect he was treated bad before coming to the sanctuary. He is no longer ridden due to his condition.
