This site is great. If I was older, I would love to adopt one of the horses you take in!! But since I am only 14, I have to wait another 4 years. I would love to send you a donation, I will have to talk to my parents tho!! (J. - Alpine, CA)

Hello I am twelve years old and saw this site from another site. I think it is awesome what you are doing to keep these beautiful creatures alive and healthy. I am thinking of raising money so I can help you as well as other horse sanctuary's. I think horse slaughter is the most awful thing that could happen to a horse. I know what it is all about. I have seen it happen in a video. I almost cried looking at the horse, in a confused and terrified state. I may not be able to donate much, but I will be sure to donate something! I thank- you again for your kindness toward horses. (T. - Langley B.C. Canada)
| Very nice website - great photos - and what a touching story about Lucky. I wish you all the best, and want to thank you for caring for those wonderful creatures. (P. - Chaptico, MD) |
Your donation can make a horse's dream come
true!|
It is lovely to see that there are people out there that care enough to help out horses that would otherwise be destroyed just because they have problems or are old. I have a problem horse that was ill treated as a youngster, and I think if I hadn't given the love and understanding I have done then he could have quite easily ended up in a slaughter house. Keep up the good work. (Wiltshire, England)

Praise God for people like you who do the Lord's work rescuing the animals that He left us in care of! (J. - Augusta, Maine)

I feel that what you are doing is a really wonderful thing. Someday I would love to be able to start my own Horse Sanctuary around my area. (B. - Painesville, OH)
| I think what you are doing is a wonderful thing. I would like to find an organization near my area. I'm a certified equine massage therapist and would definitely volunteer my services. Keep up the good work. (S. - York, SC) |

Bless you and the work you are doing. I am a nurse and work with critically ill humans. I have trouble dealing with the human capacity to neglect the needs of our equine friends. I want to shoot them (the human abusers). Thank goodness for people like you who can rescue and rehabilitate. God bless!! (N. - Coral Springs, FL)

I like this web site. I think it is wonderful! (K. - Montgomery Village, MD)
| Me and my friend were wondering if you needed help cleaning the stalls and caring for the horses? (L. & A. - Rocky Mount, VA) |

Congratulations and Good Luck! I know how difficult this can be - I volunteer with our humane society and C.A.N.T.E.R. Thoroughbred Rescue out of Muskegon, MI. Also a note of advice, bute in the pill form is much cheeper and easier. GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!! (J. - Grandville, MI)

I have never seen a horse in as bad as shape as Lucky's pictures show before rescue. It is great that there is people out there that care and will rescue an animal that has been so abused. I hope that the previous owner of this horse was severly punished. (West Balden, India)

It was wonderful to see what you have done for Lucky and I'm so grateful you found him. How could anyone in their right mind leave a horse like that... people should be shot. I donate to several organizations when I can and hope to purchase a horse in the near future. Keep up the good work ! (R. - Moffitt Field, CA)

What a wonderful Place and so much love!!! We would be honored to help get the word out by placing you on our site... (S. - Oak Lawn, IL)
| GOD bless you for helping these animals. We are a cat/dog rescue.the work never ends the money never lasts and the people are getting more cruel. Do you adopt out? I wish we had a sanctuary for the ones too damaged mentally to adopt out. Thank you. (L. - Cedar Springs, MI) |
